Quick service is kind of whats separating the wheat from the chaff in the machinery business these days. I've got no dealers other than JD and Kubota within 150 miles, so everything is mail order for my other stuff. Dealt with a company in eastern Washington, ordered one day, got part the next. I called to thank them for their quick service, and the guy said "That's how we've survived- if guys have to get stuff shipped because of no local dealer, we have to get the reputation for fastest service, because that's the one you'll call, not necessarily the closest." He went on to say that they have to take stuff to UPS at 4, and the rule is that if a customer orders something by 10 minutes to 4, and they have it in stock, it gets into today's shipment, even if some guy is still taping up the box as it goes out the door.

A few weeks ago I ordered a spray can of paint from "JEGS" after 9 PM and the next day UPS delivered it! Free shipping! I am in Indiana and they are in Ohio, so not too far.
I also have ordered parts from YT and had very fast delivery. joe
