Just bought an old magazine for this ad... thought some of you might enjoy seeing it too. If you zoom-in to about 180 percent - you can somewhat read it. Sorry, this is the clearest it posts - because my scan of it is actually readable.

I like it because this Regular in the ad,looks like our Regular... same lugs, belt pulley, seat and channel iron & seat-spring system, oil filter on it, etc. (This page will get framed and become part of our wall arrangement of my junkyard art... when I finally get it all done.)

And the Farmall was patented in July 1923, before cell phones, TV, I-net, all the stuff we know as modern day needs.

I watched an ad on U-tube a month or so ago that had this guy and his son trying to start their old tractor, (the video was from about 1938, black and white of course) And the kid goes up to town to buy a new Farmall. The video was about 15 minutes long and it ran through all the models of IH in those days. A great commercial for IH.

My uncle bought a new one in 1927 and used it, along with an F-30 until he passed in 1987.

My father and I sold the Regular in 1990 along with the owners manuel, sales brochure, payment book, etc.

The regular had hand and foot brakes with cable actuated turning brakes, a complete set of front mounted disc cultivators, and a hydraulic FEL operated by a hydraulic pump mounted between the engine and the transmission.

I spent a lot of hours in the seat of my Dads 29 regular. Loved that regular, would love to have it now. My Dad traded it in on an H in early 50's. Someone in our family has the owners manual somewhere!!
