Well, with me it was only once. She was standing outside the building when I went out to take a break. I said nice day she said sure is. I made comment she said uh hu. I said something else and what I thought was here response was a bit weird. I noticed her earbud and cord to her phone. Pre-blue tooth days. I walked off. I'm not sure she knew what happened. I had thought I was having a conversation with a pretty girl--should have known better.

I polled in a rest area on the interstate for a restroom stop. When I closed the stall the person in the next stall asked if it was raining. Told him no. He kept talking and I answered a couple more questions, Finally he said I'll call you back, the idiot in the next stall keeps talking to me. I waited a few minutes before I came out. Embarrassing.
