Do you know the man on page 43 in the January issue of Green Magazine?
It says he is from Delta, Co.

His name is Terry Brown.
It shows him sowing alfalfa vith a 530 John Deere and a modle B grain drill.

Yep,I know him.He lives across on the other side of the valley.Also has a 'herd' of JD 55/95 combines.

Thanks for the reply. In the picture he has a single front wheel 530 JD tractor.
What do you all grow thar to need a single front wheel?

A single will follow a water furrow,whereas a tricycle will not.In the 'old days',they used to use single fronts in sugar beets,onions,taters.....22" rows.These days everything is on a 30" row,wides work.A single is pretty much obsolete.
