anybody have any experience with this tractor? neighbor is looking at one, 1800 hrs, good tires, duals, 7.6 detroit diesel. has the semi powershift. spent its life pulling a planter. good, bad, fair ect..

I worked for an AGCO dealer when that series came out new. I had to rebuild the rear end in 9435 with 50 hrs. on it.

Good engine, decent cab. We only sold one. Has had transmission issues. In my opinion the transmission was too light for this size of tractor. But in its defense the first owner had several hired hands running it and they did not treat it well as well as they were constantly forgetting to take the park brake off.
