There is also an Ogdensburg in Wisconsin. I mentioned in post above that I live near there. They had a heck of an Oliver salesman in this ares back in the day as there is a BUNCH of Olivers around here.

Definitely Oburg NY. If your familiar with the area the dealership was the stone building at the foot of the bridge across the Oswegatchie between New York Ave. and State street. By what is now the laundrymat. The guy I got the sign from was apparently a catch colt from this dealer, never proven but he was left a farm and I believe a 77. But he got hit by a cement truck on said tractor.

Spencer Merry had a horse farm as well as an undertaker business. I've heard he used to gather the urine from horses in esterus to sell in NY city for perfume.

Would go to Edwardsville for Amish Choc Chip cookies and towards Huevilton (sp!) for the bread.

I'm about 7 miles from there. Tommy Fishel ran the store. His son and me were best friends. You've heard of Toll House cookies, from the elves. We had amish move in across the road and live in the chicken coop. Well we had Hen House cookies, those aren't raisons, they're flies. He he
