600 steering on 800 Ford?

Will the complete steering tower from a 6oo fit
on a 800? Posted on Ford Forum and got no help.

Well Geeeez, you gave us only an hour down there. I have row crop model Fords. I know that they will swap between models, and I can't see any reason why a swap between 600 and 800 wouldn't work but I can't say for sure.

All of those used the same Saginaw Steering didn't they?

Yes, they are the same, but you have to use the higher bolt holes for the hood because the 800 has a bigger gas tank. If you look at the space between the instrument panel and the steering wheel, the 800 will have about 2" where the Naa's, 600, and 601 will have about 3 1/2" between.
