Just remember that most people's lives are shaped more by "nurture" (upbringing and social environment) than "nature" (heredity). Don't expect him to be a reflection of your common parent (or you), just get acquainted with who he is.

If you own a farm or land, and are financially well off, dont let him know. Money will screw up most relationships. Keep your wallet closed and be wary. Other than that, hope all goes well.

Good to hear you have found a family member. You didn't ask for advice but you already got some, mine is to form an opinion AFTER you have met and gotten to know each other. He may think you are an Azz h*le. LOL
