dr. bob loblaw. actually mark, i see no point in doing the homework for someone who thinks the usa should have no government. as for taking a jab at billy's grasp on sentence structure, that was for calling me a nut. that really hurt my feelings.

Checked wikipedia, didn't find a dr bob loblaw, just bob loblaw, character on a series dysfunctional something or other. Perhaps bobbyboy should post his resume, if he has one!

I'll name one. Michael S. Coffman, PhD.

Funny how he mentions things the media doesn't. Like how much the cost of electric is rising in Europe due to shutting down all their nuclear and fossil fuel plants. And how a couple of those plants were re-started in 2012 when a windless cold snap hit England and the windmills didn't make any electric.

Which won't be an option pretty soon because they are being dismantled.

Or that in the last 30 years 50% (give or take a little) of the world-wide weather stations have been shut down, primarily in higher altitude and latitude (colder) locations.

Scientists should be skeptical. And everyone else should be skeptical when scientists start talking about "consensus".

"Shouldn’t we be emphasizing that models are not data, and that climate models have never successfully predicted anything? Models are built upon assumptions (opinions), and if the bases for the assumptions are wrong, the results can never accurately predict future behavior."- Walter Cunningham

I for one never said or suggested that the USA should not have a government and am not personally aware of anyone whom has at this TRACTOR forum or anywhere else said or suggested such a thing for that matter. You then go on to say that your feelings were hurt by Billy for making incorrect assumptions about you. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle...

Mark, I am not getting into the global warming debate because none of us know for sure, we all just have opinions.

But this is what YOU said

" Seems to me that if there were no Washington DC, there would be far fewer problems in our world. "

Sounds to me like you want no government. If you don't want to be taken literally, read what you type before you hit send.

Actually Edd, I never said or implied that I am not in favor of government. I too have an opinion about the vermin that occupy Washington DC that hijacked our Constitution with their shadow government. The kind of vermin let's say, that when asked if something that she pushed and got when she was House Speaker was constitutional, laughed and responded "Constitutional, are you kidding".

I am all for government, the one that our forefathers laid out, not this "...fundamentally transform America" one that we have now.

I am no fan of the current gang in power.

But in retrospect I am even more embarrassed that the President that I supported 13 years ago, with my votes, my emotions and my dollars, was asleep at the switch while a bunch of crooks masgarading as business men looted the nation. and, Doing so with the full support of the treasury dept that reported to our #1....W.
Go ahead, cut him "W" the same slack that all the talking heads do, blame it on "the other side". But W dropped the ball, and about put the world under financially, and we all know it.

He was the boss (but over his head)and he did nothing. Embarrassing.

"seems to me that if there were no washington dc, there would be far fewer problems in our world." is this your sarcastic comment mark, the one i followed with sarcasm of my own? if my feelings were actually hurt by comments made by posters on this forum, i don't think i would be able to hold up for too long. if you're gonna post on a bigboy's tractor forum, you need to keep up. you want bob loblaw's phone number? he'll set you straight.

""seems to me that if there were no washington dc, there would be far fewer problems in our world." - bobbyboywestcentIN

Again, I nor anyone that I know of personally said or suggested that the USA would be better off without a government. I merely pointed out a fact that our nation and the world would be far better off without Washington DC and the hot air coming out of there that is perhaps the greatest source of man caused global warming, if there exists such a thing. No one other than perhaps yourself may believe that governance for our nation and the world revolve around Washington DC. As for your claim that Billy called you a nitwit, well if it was you that claimed global warming increases snowfall (greatly cooling of rain), then I guess that we can't fault Billy, now can we? I would give him a pat on the back for showing great common sense, something that never happens in for instance...Washington DC.
