weather in your area

Been getting freezing rain for two days in mid Michigan. Supposed to keep up until it turns to a major snow storm tonight and tomorrow. Yippie.

30 degrees and frosty, here in south centeral Wisconsin, damp and overcast with frost forming on the trees along the creek

We got about 4 feet of snow in the last couple of weeks, I shoveled the roofs this week, yesterday the rain began and we are supposed to get a couple of more inches of rain today through tomorrow.

Record high of 79 yesterday 17 degrees above normal.
Suppose to hit 80 today another record high.
Rain should be here this afternoon and overnight with the front.
Highs in mid to upper 50's all next week.

Nice today, close to 60. Better tomorrow, but with showers, close to 65. Back into the deep freeze Monday, temps dropping, on through next week....

20 now and cloudy, been a cold and windy fall so far and a lot of one and two inch snow falls. Was out back with the 4 wheeler and got stuck, about 14 inches of cold snow in the fields, it's just like sugar underneath. Going back below zero Sunday night.

hi all,
-6 C this am 3" powder snow yesterday. No wind this morning. Oliver BC Canada
Merry Christmas Ed Will

At 10:45am in Omaha, it is 22 degrees and overcast. Most of our snow has melted away, supposed to get a little tonight, but the real snow is to our SE, from KC to Des Moines is supposed to see a white Christmas!

Ya here at the Lake of the Ozarks I woke up to rain and ice on every thing above ground. Temps are just right at freezing so the ground and all is wet but trees etc. are covered with ice. Had planned to go out with the 44mag and deer hunt but will wait since the deer are not likely to be moving in this weather

We're back in the mud again today, here in central NY. .59 inches of rain since midnight, and temp currently at 52F at noon. Had ,39" of rain yesterday. The 12" of snow we had on the ground is gone. and water starting to pond in places. It was below zero the earlier part of the week.

it's about -3C or about 29F here in Sussex NB, Canada today. Have two feet of snow so far this week since Sunday and calling for another foot tomorrow. That's an unusual amount for here for this time of year. Sure makes me thankful for global warming ! LOL

75 degrees and windy here in Central MS. Supposed to rain this afternoon/tonight. Chance of severe T-storms and possible tornados also., then cooling off to mid 50"s. for a few days. Ya"ll keep all the freezing rain and snow up north.

Folks in many other parts of the USA and even parts of Canada don't quite understand how the cold and snow blankets us for so many months at a time. They get it cold, for a day or 3, but then it gets to 30 or 40 or 50 again for a day or 3.

We just get cold at Thanksgiving and it stays there, month after month, soaking in. Cold. Nothing melts, nothing greens up.

And that ice belt below us, where storms are always a layer of ice over a d over - that wouldn't be for me at all, 5 below and a clear day beats that 29 degrees and ice storm stuff they deal with.

Now I enjoy it here, not complaining, but just always fun to see the different concepts around the continent.

Going to be spending another day in the freezing rain, going from Springfield Il. to Davenport Ia. then home to Mn. At least that's the plan right now, we'll see how it goes.

83 degrees out in the shop right now here in central Florida. Chance of rain first of the week and we sure need it. Weather guessers are saying high 70's on Christmas day. I don't think I'll need to mount the snow plow on a tractor this year (lol)

Just quit huntin about an hour ago. Was dry here (Clay County) and then the freezing rain started. Fully expected the deer to be active before the storm but apparently not. Was out there well before first light but only saw squirrels.

Supposed to be in the mid 60's today but think the rain is gonna keep that down some. Right now, 56, same its been bout all day.
Rain adding to our record rainfall year. Now I guess we're over by at least 6-8 in.

Global warming here. It was 12 below zero this morning with very little wind--so far. We've had light snow just about every day this week but not adding up to much.

About 1/4 inch of ice on about everything. Getting a break for the morning, but bracing for another onslaught of freezing rain this afternoon.

Guys, 52* and Ptly Cloudy The Big front Stalled out over Us here in South Central Texas! Rained off and on all night till 11:00 am got right at 3/4 in of rain. No complaints so far. Looks like semi-ptly Sunny the rest of the afternoon.
Later,
John A.

Did some squirrel hunting yesterday around 2:30 PM and saw a couple squirrels and also jump a deer. Sort of hope this rain turns to snow so that I can maybe see deer if there are any other there to see that is

You any where near the Delta State University as in Cleveland MS?? That is where I graduated from High school many years ago

@2:35 pm I just came in from bush-hogging lower bottom. It's 73.9 F and I'm sweating! on Dec. 21st! East KY.

Southern Illinois - Rain

Weather radio has been giving flood warnings all day - glad I'm on a hill.

Ours stinks! 45* and raining. Last Saturday we got all the way up to 8*, followed buy a foot of snow Saturday night into Sunday! I hate those kind of weather swings.

Prediction is for serious freezing rain in western NY, starting now. Yet here in central NY freezing temps. aren't forecast for 48 hours! Crazy.

Every inch of our yard is almost too slippery to walk on. I've been out putting chains on the tractor to try to scrape some of this ice off the walks and driveway. Almost fell on my rear 5 times jut trying to drag the tractor chains from the barn over to the pole barn to put them on. Also mid michigan.

Tornado warning for Jackson, TN until 7:15 p.m. CST. Heavy rain, thunder and wind now and tornado sirens are blasting. I don"t think it is on the ground.

Here in NE Kansas (north of Topeka) was in the upper teens all day and about four this afteroon started raining and freezing, then sleet. Suppose to get up to 6 inches of snow by morning, but still getting rain and sleet. Why didn't I try out the generator when it was warm, hasn't run for a year.

If your going from Springfield to Davenport, you will go past Kruser and ole blu and be about 30 miles upriver from me. Roads here aren't too bad yet, just starting to snow lightly, windy. Supposed to get from 1 to 8 inches and wind tonite. Chris
