So I'm trying to look up parts for my h but something isn't right with my serial number? Cannot find anything with this number?

It is a 1945 model, about 1/2 way through the year's production.
The X 3 refer to gearing, etc. Someone will chime in with the explanation of the suffix.

When ever your looking at the serial number lists you have to know how o add and subtract and do the math. Like if you look under research and info then serial numbers then Farmall the H you have to do the math to see where your number falls between the first number for each year

Guy Fay's book Farmall Letter Series Tractors shows that you have a 1945 H with ser# 194923. The X3 shows it left the factory equipped to burn kerosene. That # makes it an early 1945.

For a long time I thought it was just that simple, until I found a "T" date designation on the front end of my H, and a "W" designation on the rear end, come to find out I may have the front and engine off a 1950, and the rear end off a 1951.

If the tractor engine was built for the same tractor as the serial number on the center housing. The engine serial number will be the same.
