Likewise, this is the wrong place to be making this confession, but my AC B & C have become a challenge to get on and off, so they will be leaving!
I got an 07 NH TT60A w/less than 500 hours, and a slightly used Woods 7' rear discharge, 3 point, finish mower.
(I'll still have two AC antiques, as well as a couple JD's).

Not a bad thing, your confession that is.... but old bones come with old age and its good to realize and admit it. There will come a day when we all will face it.... at least you're REPLACING and not just selling.... good for you !!!

If you still like the old tractors and will use them then do not be afraid to think outside the box by rigging up some mounting steps (and handrails).

I plan to convert my Farmall h and Farmall m to a front mount design with custom steps and a handrail that will also serve as a fender to do just that. (3 point hitch kits make them hard to mount from rear now).

Granted it might anger the antique restoration police but I do not care. Neither tractor is worth all that much and I can easily unbolt my mods anyway and put it back to stock if I ever desire. Course I never bought any of them old Allis's cause they looked like a nightmare to mount and operator comfort did not look to be there even when once mounted.

Yea, but there's more to the story. When I put up a grain elevator this year, the C's job(running auger) was eliminated. So it replaced the B for mowing. But one hour on the bench seat of either one has my hip bones sore enough that it takes awhile to get off and loosen up!
Now I have a cushion seat, remote hydr. separate from the rockshaft, etc. etc. WOW!
A friend is calling me a traitor!

Your experience of lack of comfort confirms my suspicions.

Actually, I considered buying a late WD as I like those Allis engines a while back. Well the comfort and ergonomics was not there for me at all. I put the wife on the tractor and that further sealed the deal - she said no way and refused to even test drive it. Ending up buying the Farmall h instead. No regrets.
