Great being a over the road truck driver and owner operator on top of that isn't it.

I really feel your pain because I have been there and done that.
But every time I hear one of these horror stories I am sure glad I now work for a big company and never go more than towing distance from the house.

It was the dryer. But as they were test drivin it an engine code popped that was the controller for the def so they had to replace that too.

I always carry the fittings to bypass the dryer so if it gives problems I don't need an expensive tow. Also change cartridge each November.
