Oliver 1650 Gas Head Gasket

I am needing to replace the head gasket in my Oliver 1650 Gas tractor. I have never worked on an Oliver engine, is there anything other than the normal stuff I should know??. I have water in the oil and oil in the radiator so Im guessing its the gasket. Any information would be great! Thanks!

It maybe as simple as a freeze plug in the head under the valve cover being bad. I have had that problem on my Oliver 60 engine and I would check that first. That said I am not sure it has them but sure better to check that before going all out

Could also be a cylinder seal. May want to post your question on the Oliver/Cockshutt Board below.
You will get some good advise down there.
