Wife looked for several years for me . Since all the snow has melted off the roof and these new hats ya find now have no foam insulation in them like the good old hat use to have my bald head gets dang cold while out hunting . Last year AFTER deer season she found a Orange hat with fuzzy ear flaps , not exactly what i wanted as it is not a ELMER FUDD style with a brim but more a COMMRAD style BUT it is warm and way to warm for this years deer hunt sofar . Maybe tomorrow or maybe latter today when we go out as soon as my buddy get done killing cows and piggys

Erik,
I was given this hat as a joke by my friendly JD dealer. I have had it for many years now and it has been well used.
The BEST peice of JD equipment that I ever owned.
HeHe.

I absolutely despise wearing earflaps or stocking cap, but with the temp at -25F this morning, I broke out my old ear flappers. I like the ones that have a band across my forhead. Helps keep the brain from freezing up!

Google "Stormy Kromer" and you'll never buy another winter hat. They have been made right here in Iron Mountain, Michigan for about 100 years.
