Toro golf course tractor

I have a 1948 Toro golf course tractor. It has a ford 8n motor, truck transmission & ford truck dual wheel rear end. I also have a 8BA flathead v8 ford motor. My question is will the v8 bolt up to the truck transmission? Will I need adapters to bolt it up? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you .

I don't know the answer, not knowing what trans it has, but
there was an adapter made to mate the V8 to the 8N trans.
So if the 8N engine hooks directly to your trans, I would guess
that you would need some sort of adapter.
If there is already an adapter to make it fit the 8N engine, you
may be able to take the adapter out and bolt it up the V8.

We found these numbers on the Toro. The toro tractor plate , tractor #29501,engine #1060. The transmission is a 59T 7006 4 speed truck. I did not find any markings on the rear end. The motor is a 8n with a front distributor.
