O.T. New Mexico travel

Big thanks to whoever on here told me to come across New Mexico thru Roswell . Left Weatherford TX down I 20 to Sweetwater, up to 84 to Post West 180 thru Roswell. Down thru Alamogordo, and down to Las Cruces. Lots of real farm land. Cotton, Sunflower, and milo. Nice crops. Checked out a real ag. museum today at Florence Arizona. Lots of photos to come.

I was impressed with the White Sands SW of there. Heard about it all my life and finally saw it......and up this desolate road of 20 miles give or take (don't remember) coming up from I-10 and about half way in the middle of nowhere this law inforcement officer comes out to greet me from his building with his hand on his weapon......nice.

David little valley right there close Hondo valley was as you say really nice. I just could not believe the cotton fields there in south west Texas, miles and miles. O and for the tractor folks 90 % or more were green, few case ih and masseys but pretty green in that part of the country. Did see a few of my LITTLE Kubota behind houses but not in the fields. LOL

Well old boy wish I had we are just loafing and sure would have checked you out. We spent the night is Casa Grande Az and are going on up toward Bryce Canyon today. Loving it.

Ted I think it was something like the Florence Historical Society or something. Really a neat place have photos to post when I get time. The folks I talked to seem to think when the government get out of the wind business it will be over. Something like a million bucks a pop and there were many there in that area. Makes our farm subsidy program look small. Thing is on that site they are saying at best they operate 43% of the TIME and then only at about 50% or rated output.
