My brother's new freestall barn with milking parlor is progressing nicely, they have had great weather to get it under roof.

It is a gas well, there are a lot of them around here.

that's what I was trying to figure out also, but seems pretty wide for a 2 row. The posts on the end wall make it look like it won't be a drive thru.

How do the cows get out of the parlour? Our parlours are flow through....cows come in one end out the other.We never use timber framing in the UK like you use for roofs in America. Too expensive! Ours are all portal frame steel. Typical cubicle house here is 24 foot wide, 2 row of cubicles and an 8 ft passageway.plus the feeding/free-wandering area which is usually 10 foot plus.

I thought it might have the drive through on the left side? Overall width seemed about right to me... mabey around 50'?
