OT slick soles

I live where wet dirt is like glue. It is very difficult to get out of the crevices except on momma's hardwood floors. Anybody know a good brand of lace up work boot with a smooth sole.

I recently bought a pair of Florsheim boots on eBay that have very smooth soles. I wear a size 16 so I buy whatever I can find that is cheap.

Irish setter, wing shooter. Insulated with 400 gm thinsulate, or not insulated. Wear them everyday for work, last about 5 years with 1 resole. They are also water proof. $189. Been wearing them for 25 years.

I wear a 16 too. They don't have cheap shoes in that size. I feel pretty good if I can buy shoes for under 100 bucks.

I hate cleats of any kind on my work shoes. I looked through the Red Wing catalog a couple years ago and could not come up with any sole I liked.
I wore Kinney shoes for years and they outlasted Red Wing, Wolverine and a few other brands but they went out of business. Guy in shoe store says, must be because they lasted too long. Couldn't sell enough of them.

I just came back from Sears
these are there DieHard boots on sale $50.00
Two pairs $107.00 with tax
I get about four years out of them

If you're in the upper Midwest Mill's Fleet Farm sells a line of boots under a house name made in America with a sole like the Sears Die Hards a few post ahead of me.
