Calcium Chloride ain't tasty.

One or both of the valve stems on my loader tractor were leaking so I decided to replace them.

Whoever filled these tires crammed every last drop of fluid in them they could. As soon as the old stem was loose, fluid started spraying everywhere. Got a drop on my lip. NASTY!

I don't recommend it as a recreational beverage.

I usually taste it to determine if it is CaCl or alcohol.

CaCl is VERY salty.

I had a JD 420, put a great big ware hoe on it, needed an 800 lb
counterweight up front, to keep the loader on the front wheels.
As I was driving it down to the shop, i heard a clicky, clicky
sound, then felt the fender vibrate like someone had kicked it.
Then BOOM, WHOOSH, I was soaked with a mixture of methanol
and a little calcium brine, for flavor. About 60 gallons, or
whatever fits in a 13-6 X 26 tire. First clicky was the first time
the tube protruded from the cracked sidewall, and rubbed the
fender. Second clicky was the second revolution. The Boom and
woosh were, of course the tire ripping to shreds, as the tube
spewed its contents straight up, then down on me!

I wouldn't recommend taking showers with it, either!

Hi
Don't get it in a cut on your hand either!the @##$DY Michelin rear tire on the Valtas rubbing the tube, and the fluid started appearing round the stem last night.
Of course we need it for baling right now which is typical.
Pumped her out and got the tire off tonight, got a good sized cut on my hand, it hurts pretty good with that stuff in, and way worse than when i did it!.
