Is it possible to remove@replace the main bearings and replace them without removing the engine?

If they are of the insert version yes. If they are poured bearings then no.

Yes but if your replacing them due to one knocking it will do little if any good. Once one starts to knock then the crank shaft needs to be pulled out and checked and most likely turned

Thank you for the information. Motor sounds good I was just curious. Had to remove the engine on my 1948 IHC to remove the rear main
