We made the apple butter in the crock pot,we got the recipe off the computer,it worked well,type in apple butter in crock pot,,,,hope this helps,,,,Larry

Thanks Larry ill do that. We have alot of apples this year! I wanna do something different than just apple sauce. Old also sent me some recipes too. Apples are good for us! Better than bacon right,,, Lol. Thanks again.

I've seen apple butter discussed here before. Would someone please tell me what is it and what do you eat it with or on, or use it for?

Apple butter is a spread made from apples and other spices and sugar etc. Any store that sells food is very likely to have it. I have made it many times over the years. I also have probably at least 5 recipes for it
