Sounds like its low on oil, right! If it still moves you might save it by putting some oil in it. Where did the oil go?

We did add oil, I don't know if it ever had enought oil in it when he bought it, and he broke the return line, had a new one made and maybe he never checked the oil afterwards? Maybe he damaged the pump buy this point?

Did you run it after you added the oil? It may take some time to work the air out of it. Did you use hydraulic oil? If the oil is foamed it may have to set awhile for the foam to dissipate. If it still does not work properly after all this then the pump is probably bad.

Yes I ran it for a few minutes, but the pump is nosiey, I can run it tomarrow some more, he said it always ran that way? But I don't think it's right. Thanks for the help.

Friend of mine has one just like it. Was you using it in the vertical position? On his when it was in the upright position it kinked the return hose to the tank and would run slow.
