Have seen more than one of these with the bed turned over but not come apart at the pivot?? Think they are going to need a big wrecker or a crane or an excavator.

I had a liquid manure(slurry) spreader built on a chassis like that. About 2 months after I sold it the same thing happened. I think it gave the driver smelly cab syndrome!

If I'm not mistaken, and I usually am, the manufacturer designed it to do that. Gives the operator a much better view on forward approach. Backing up isn't quite as smooth though, so they are planning larger mirrors. Much larger mirrors.

Imagine the poor guy trying to explain that one to the boss on the phone.

"Yes. In TWO. Right in the middle."

Someone will learn to be more observant of his trunion bearings in the future... That is one miserable job to put back together.

Had a Cat pan scraper setting upside down on the ditch in front of the plant about two weeks ago, don't know what prompted them to unload on the roadside and not the flat parking lot. A few hours after that they broke the gear that adjusts the blade angle on their grader, when their mechanic showed up they also informed him the clutch was going out in the dump truck.

Nope... but they can roll the front half over flat on it's face while the back half stays firmly planted. Lots of videos on the tube of that happening.
It's actually a very good system IF you keep the frame stops in place so it doesn't go over AND you keep the trunion bearing tight and well maintained.... I much prefer it to an oscillating front axle.

All joking aside, is the front of that cab angled just like that, so it can rest like that, when it comes apart?
