Location Rant

When people post pictures, I wish they would say where they are located, like southern Indiana, or mid state Minnesota some times when I travel I might reconize the place.
Would it be so difficult to do that? You don't have to give your address, just a general location.
What do other people have to say about this?

I like it for anything crop related. Is nice to be able to read what some one does, but is especially helpfullif you know what state at least they are in so youknow if it is some thing you can relate to on our own soil's.

Yeah. It always gets me when people post a picture and put something like, "east of Summertown", or "just down the road from Greenville". GIVE THE NAME OF THE STATE!!!

How about when they are looking for a part, large or small. Why can't we get the location where it must be shipped to so we can decide if its worth contacting them. Or if the guy needs help fixing something, does he live next door or on the other side of the country?? That said, I never put my location in the body of a post.

How about the "what's it worth" without a location? That's the one that gets me. Can't tell you a darn thing because areas dictate value.

But I don't live in a State.....! Sometimes my wife complains that I have the house in a state? But it still ain't in America!
I will try to remember to not just say 'over here!' and instead type out the long name of my country.....'Northern Ireland' or the shortened version we often use' Norn Iron' if you promise to put United States of America after every state name! LOL
Still, on second thoughts 'Norn Iron' would probably confuse you further!

Only 5 out of the dozen posters in this thread, (including the OP) have an approximate location in their profiles.

This is the [b:96b829bdb8]only[/b:96b829bdb8] forum out of quite a few that I read where people won't indicate where they are.

It ain't that difficult, guys.
