It's probably worth fixing up- as long as the frame
is in decent shape. You can get the bearings,
blades and other needed parts from ASC or Shoup.

I watched an Alis disc sell last week, brought $100.00. Both front gangs where shot. If you have to replace the disc blades, arbour bolts bearings, and spacers, Like the one I had seen, I think you would be well over a grand in parts. Bruce

Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't walk, run away from it. The parts are sky high for it and thats if you can get them.

A few years ago I had an Allis-Chalmers 14 foot tandem disc given to me because it needed several new bearings. Those bearings were obsolete, no longer available, and nothing else could be substituted. I wanted it simply because of the heavy, structural iron that it was made of. That iron has contributed to a bunch of projects.

Basically I am saying that the 10 footer is not worthless, but I sure would not want to attempt turning it back into a useable piece of farm machinery again. You'd be money ahead to find one that is ready to go.

Does it look like this? If so I need some parts off it if you don't buy it. If you doo buy it I will sell you mine for parts. I could find only blades for mine. I have about 8 nice blades (16 inch) left over.

I once had one and it had hex shaped axles and shoup did not have blades for it. I don't think I found any. and I sold it.
