The owner's manual, parts manual and technical manual are all available.

They would be a great investment, especially on you first tractor.

They explain how to operate it and maintain it plus the parts list.

Once you find the model number search eBay for the books on CD.

The model number is just aft of the starter, on the top of the flat

spot with the two bolt holes in it.
It will be hand stamped in and can be hard to read. The number just
under that is the serial number that will tell you what year it actually is.

These old Fords are good tractors, but like anything their vintage,

they require regular maintenance.

If you have to hire that maintenance done they get expensive FAST!

I notice that half wits always get wild when you give them the right info.I will quit the forum because My eyesight is failing because of cataracts and I cant afford the 5 grand for surgery.Old age aint for sissys.

I put that post in the wrong place.Tired out no sleep.Talked with a friend who had both eyes done.He says the prices I was quoted are way out of line.I have Medicare,have paid plenty into it in 10 years.Too many things have gone wrong this year.
