SWEET S-series! That makes it a '56-'57 model. I still have a grille for an S-series at Dad's shop...not sure if I still have the park lights for the grille or not.

What is this truck then? I saw this at the Ag progress show over at State College PA.....I think it is a Ford of some sort?

The 1952 year was the only one that had the circular disk in the side chrome on the hood. 1951 had only the straight side chrome bars. The 1953 was a very much wider and larger hood that had the Ford Jubilee crest in the center part of the front lip. 1954 was like the 53 except it was not marked with the Jubilee symbol.

I was commenting on the INTERNATIONAL.

At the time I commented, the Ford truck hadn't been posted to this thread.

NOPE.

This is an F-1 or F-2. Those were built from '48 to '52. The '53-up would have been the F-100 and the F-250, which had a wider cab than the series in the picture.

Back in the day, hot rodders wanted the '53 and newer "Effies," as they were MUCH more easily adaptable to swap in a later big-block engine.
