Got in the habit of listening to WSM radio when we were in Tennessee. Been listening online a fair whack of the time since we've been back. Anybody else listen?

Well, I do. But I'm only 30 miles away from the tower.....
 
Randy, do you listen to that on the compuker or did you buy an internet radio. a friend has one but has to stay within range of his wireless modem.
 
try 106.9 out of Topeka KS KTPK.
I get in my truck most of the time. Thought about going to Radio Shack and seeing if there is some kind of booster I could put in the antenna.
Get static in several areas.
 
Got to put in a plug for my internet favorite "MOOSE COUNTRY" WATQ 106.7

On rare occasions I can pick up WSM at night. Sometimes I try to pick up the Opry on Sat. nights. Guess I just don't have a good quality radio.
Hadn't really thought about using the computer. Thanks for the tip.
 
Interesting story is that WSM received its call letters from the insurance company that owned the station for many years. The motto was "We Shield Millions".

rrlund, you might as well move on down to TN, but bring a few toys with you. You'll have to have a tractor or two for plow days, gardening and the like.

Bring anyone else along of your choosing, so long as they polite and qualify as a productive member of society :)
 
Ya,something some folks might remember or know about too,is that WSM,home of the Grand Ol Opry,used to only be country overnight. They didn't play it during the day. WLAC was the big Nashville country station wasn't it?

Trust me,I'm living there in my mind. It's the only way I keep my sanity most days.
