Got stuck today

I was mowing this morning, I got cross ways in a low area with my mower. The ground is so soft (sand) it doesn't take much to spin the tires. I wasen't making much progess with my rake, and digging by hand. I finally went for my truck with a farm jack, which was at the other of the area. Quite a walk. After about a hour I finaly got out. I forget to mention it was around 100 degrees. Then to top it all off I stuck my finger in the alt fan while installing the radiator screen. Removing a nice patch of skin on one finger. Hope your day was better. Stan

Sounds like one of my days Stan. I work for people that shouldn't be on tractors...they've had 'em in creeks, stuck in cattails, and stumps wedged under 'em. I'd probably go insane iffin they didn't pay me so dang much!!!

I got hung up on a stump once when mowing, but it stood up only about 16 inches in three foot weeds. The one that you are on looks like it sticks up pretty good. I had to go back home for a jack.

Must be catching, thought I could get a little closer to the edge of the pond, low spot not as dry as I thought. ZT is quite helpless...time for the D 12

My brother high centered on a stump the other day, but he had some help. He was down in the bottoms on the 2600 trying to put in some food plots. His future SIL was on the 9N helping him. Both were using blades to move brush piles. Well, the 9N ran out of gas. Brother tried to help him out by hooking the blades together. Then, in a stroke of genius he texted me to bring a chain down there. I got down there with my Farmall H and chained onto the 9N. I pulled him out, then looked back. In pulling out the 9N, I had also pulled the 2600 up onto a stump.

i can relate to that about the worst stuck i had with my stuff, [ what i did to grampa's M as a kid is another story] was when i stuck a ford 2000 with a front loader, a gopher had dig a tunnell between the irrigation ditch and a pasture the water flooded the wrong place and i headed in to fix it on the way that ford dropped in to its oilpan, i could raise it up with the loader out of the muck but couldnt get enough traction to move the tractor any to get out, i dug for awhile and retried with no results , at the time i had a m/m jetstar 3, so went and hooked that tractor to the back of the ford and eased into it, the jetstar just stood on its hind wheels and didnt move the ford more than a foot, 9 hours of jacking and timbers later the ford was out not a fun day
