Are you 'fixing' these to sell?Dont.Old tractors are bottomless money pits, you will never get your parts money out of them, much less labor....Just sellem as/is.You will be money ahead in the long run...if you need a tractor to use,put some money with the procedes and buy one ready to use....If you are 'restoreing' them for your personal use/enjoyment,thats a whole different ballgame....

Own use/ the fun of it is no different really now, at some point ya gonna loose money. Most places you can find a tractor in a collector sale that's not rare,is restored, new tires and stuff for less than doing you own one you just drive it. A few widows have found that out round here with prices. what they thought the collection was worth, and what they ended up with when the hammer dropped.
I spoke to a guys wife the other day, he wants to sell, in the next year or so. she figures he'd be better dead first, as he's gonna be disappointed with the price he gets now l.o.l.

The best thing now is let someone else take the hit on the parts and time then save your money for the worse times that are looking like coming.

Regards Robert
