Getting a much needed rain here in North-East Iowa

It has been a rainy morning here. I have about 7 tenths so far and it is still lightly raining here. We where starting to need another rain. This one really fit the bill.

We are supposed to be hot the next 7 days. 90-95 temps and no rain for that period. This should really start the crops turning for fall.

I had thunder,lightening and wind last night but no rain. Went just a few miles north. Looks like if this one even holds together it'll go a few miles south. Just my luck!

Ya a week or so ago we had way to much rain as in 15 plus inches in less then a week and last night I had to water my garden. Just goes to show a person at any one point in time you can be a week away for a flood or a drought

We got missed again last night. Was a very promising rainstorm coming over the pond from Wisconsin but it evaporated and went south of us AGAIN! Dang, we need some rain real bad.

Got 1/2" last night, another 1" this afternoon. Branch County, south central Michigan.

I received right at 3" in north central Illinois lasalle county,was really needed most rain at anytime since late june
