The two youngest Grandsons both started school today. The youngest is in pre-school and the other kindergarten. It sure is quiet around here. LOL. The wife is enjoying the peace and quite.

The kids are going to have to get a few more started. I need some more little helpers around here. Well my second son/DIL are close to getting the job done. She is currently carrying triplets. So they are going to catchup in an hurry. LOL

I love to have kids under foot. Kind of wish that we still had the foster kids. Did not make any difference the age/race or boy/girl they are/where just kids needing help in starting their life.

I have five kids and would have liked more but God's plan was different.

Time sure does fly, today is the send off to college for a long time friends daughter, full scholarship on the academics, she did well in HS, want to become a doctor, but the rest is out of pocket, its just hard to believe she's off to college already, was just yesterday...... well uh.....

With all that goes with a large family, multi generation of kids, there definitely are times to appreciate and enjoy. Something I'll likely not ever know too much about, but teaching, and helping them along is something I like for some reason, I taught his son how to field dress, and butcher a deer, and coached him in my stand for his first kill, under low light and seemingly difficult conditions, I could not have done it any better myself, well at least he knows how to put food on the table during the season, it was a rewarding experience, another great memory in this old field too.

TRiplets.........Holy Cow! Can you imagine what it would have been like to have had one birth provide three of them?? By the way JD...you never did tell us the sequel to the one little grandson's painting of his mothers car?? DId you or he ever get up the nerve to tell her?

My wife's grandson has been with us for almost 4 years. He starts Pre-K next Monday. I Don't know if I will be able to take him being gone all day. He is a very good helper around here. I just may have to go to school with him.

Lyle can tell you a lot about triplets. His just got driving permits; won't be long that they'll each want a car!!!

There are some things left best alone. LMAO His Mom was POED big time. The insurance had to repair the damage done by the other car any way so the Grandson's paint job really did not cause any long term effects. I kind of coached him to not talk about it. His butt is much safer this way. Us guys have to stick together.

Ah man.......that truly IS some funny stuff there! 'Especially the "coaching" on your part! You know the daughter-in-law has "somebody" implicated in the painting of her car. 'Feel sorry for that poor old dude. Hopefully she hasn't "returned the favor" upon them yet! Funny stuff!!
