IH 3 pt problem

My 584 diesel 3 point hitch raised with lever down and not moved. I was using the remote pulling a grader and all of the sudden the 3 point hitch raised and broke pin on stabilizer chain. I moved remote and it went down. It happen again and would not lower until I moved tractor. The tractor might set a month without any use. Any idea what it causing the problem?

The draft control system is located in the lift hydraulics. The sensor might have gotten misplaced/unhooked from the bar on which it travels. Look at the diagrams for the draft control at caseIH.com to figure what I mean. I think it is accessible through the top link mounting plate. (it is on other big frame tractors)
