Bill from Scotland reported on the Pickering Steam Fair a few post ago. I was also there and took a few pictures. Just testing to see whether I can remember how to post multiple pictures so they may not come out straight away.

I think I've seen some of that stuff and video from that show on that show that come on early Friday mornings on RFD TV.
Interesting items.

Unusual steam power stuff there, thanks for the photos. Our club, Northern Illinois Steam Power Club has about 50 Steam engines every year, but the varity of items in your show is amazing.

We have been attending Pickering for about 15 years and Ive mostly enjoyed every visit but was a bit disappointed this year as were most people I talked with.
We have done Dorset Steam Fair a couple of times but its 650miles from where I live. Are there any other big shows that you can think of that are worth visiting?

My first time there Bill, had heard a lot about it but I, too was a little disappointed. There seemed a lot of "rubbish" stalls not really related to steamers or tractors.

The best tractor show is normally anything at Newark which are always well organised. I am involved with one organised by Blue Force next year. We also have two great shows close to me in Norfolk at Weeting and Strumpshaw. It is a long trip for you even though the A1 is greatly improved.

I am off to one in Meddo, Holland in September taking my Petrol Dexta. That is a lovely little show with a variety of tractors strange to British eyes.
