I found this electrical device with an on/of button on the side
it has a gearbox in it with a square hole that would fit a square rod like on a doorknob on the back.
It turns very slow and in only one direction.

I wonder what it was used for??

:? Bison, you might want to have Lyle build you a mounting bracket to mount it on your B-B-Q!
PS: Don't try to do a whole tatonka, you would prolly want a PTO set-up for that!

I have learned that lots of "Found" electrical items have ground faults, Been wet, internal insulation cracked, etc. Be careful...

They are also perfect for spray painting poly on rifle stocks so as not to get runs as it dries.

I rigged one up and made a power feed for a little lathe an mill. Works real good just the right speed./

Me is pretty good at fabricating things myself

By the looks of Lyle's sawmill setup If i have Lyle build me a bracket it's prolly gonna be made from drillstem and weigh at least a 1000 lbs

A tatonka calf will do just fine :D
