Guy I used to work with thought he had a coon getting into his trash. He started putting a cinder block on his trash can, and the problem disappeared. After a few months, he didn't need it, so he quit putting it on. Thanksgiving day arrives, and he takes some garbage out to the can, the lid is off and the can is shaking. He grabbed a shotgun, threw a stone at the can. the culprit pops up out of the can and he nailed it on the fly. It was a skunk, an it painted the area good doing it's death dance. Thanksgiving dinner got moved to John's mother's about ten miles away......
