Another reason I hate crows

My water mellons didn't do good this year. Just not enough moisture to sprout the plants. A couple plants did manage to come up. I have been waching a couple mellons that looked they may be good. I covered the mellons so the crows couldn't get to them. They managed to peck a hole in the biggest one through the screen I put on them. I thought I could cut it open, and cut out the bad part. It is always fun to cut the mellons open to taste them. The wife and myself are watching the knife go through the mellon. As the melon fell open rotten melon goosh covered the kitchen counter. I've never heard my wife use that word. Talk about a smelly mess. Anyway that's why I hate crows. Stan

All you have to do is kill one of them and hang it in a tree nearby. The rest of them will leave and never return.

I hung a crow in my pecan tree one year. No crows that year. To my surprise no crows the next year even though the dead crow had been thrown away the year before.
It seems as long as there is one crow still alive that saw the dead crow hanging from the tree he will warn others to stay away. Once all die off and you have a new generation of crows you need to kill and hang another one.

HMMmm,John I think that just might work for low life humans also. Hang them up there with a sign saying what deed got them hung up there.

All of my life I've been a strong proponent for
public hangings & the guillotine for hard-core
offenders of capital crimes. Televise it on ALL
networks, and then see how fast the crime rate
drops. But will the powers that be, LISTEN . . . NO!

Several years back, someone stole my fil's hay right out of the field. He hung the following sign on the gate:

"Anyone caught stealing hay will need and undertaker to wipe his a@@."
