jd 2440 injector pump leak (1976 mod)

Have a 1976 jd 2440 with diesel leaking from the shaft that the fuel shutoff lever rotates. This shaft also has the throttle linkage on the engine side of the pump. I looked up the parts a while back and got an o ring to repair. I can't find an exploded view of the pump that shows this shaft area in great detail. I'm not sure if I want to open this thing up blind.

Figured that was a CAV pump, now I looked at the parts catalog, and see it's a Stanadyne.

There should be LOTS of info on the 'net about throttle shaft seals in a Roosa/Standyne DB2.

If needed, I can get you the info out of the Deere fuel injection shop manual.
