Will Ground Clear hurt shallow root trees ?

I'll be careful with the vapor/mist drift, but I want to know if any residue leaching will get to the roots of my spruces and pines and kill them.

Thanks in advance.

Just looked on line, says pretty clearly on the label not to.

Imazapyr is good stuff, but persistent, it will soak in with rain and go after whatever is there for roots....

I use Glyphospate under trees. You get it on the leaves of what you want to kill. Unlike 24d is's not soil active. If you accidentally got some on lower branch leaves you might loose the branch, but that would be about it. That's one reason you can buy it here in TX. in 2 1/2 gallon containers without an applicator's permit whereas soil active herbs. like 24d is restricted over the quart size.
