two new movies I won't be seeing. for us over 50 only two actors played the parts. george reeves as the only superman and clayton moore as the only lone ranger. can't forget kirk allen and john hart they were ok.
 
Jay silverheels was also excellent in the original series. They would be hardpressed to find anyone to match his acting talent.
 
The new Superman movie was actually really good. What's the point of this post? Did you expect them to use the same actors? Or are you afraid that the new actors can't do the role justice? Or just thinking back to when the movies originally came out?
 
I won't be seeing the Lone Ranger. Because if its like a lot of trash coming out of Hollywood, it will be so full of political correct garbage that Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels will be turning in their graves.
When did you ever see Tonto wearing a bird on his head in the old movies?
 
Lone Ranger- if treated as a comic parody- is kind of funny. the horse seems well trained, the one legged whor* Carter plays has a intersting artifical leg that is a blast. The scene with the 2 Comanches discussing Lone Ranger talk has a amusing translation line. The bit part of the rabbits eating scene may have been written by a Kevinandkell writer trying to expand Coney"s image. RN
