OT Tragedy At Dayton Air Show

Very unfortunate. Those old relics were unpredictable once you were outside the flight envelope. Stall a T38, it only sunk like a brick. Easy to get out of IF you had enough altitude. Been to the Dayton air show a couple times several years back.

Saw that earlier on Patty Wagstaff"s FB. A real heartbreak.
You"re right Red, with all the drag hanging out those things come down fast when the power leaves them. That one had a 450 HP Pratt in it, where all the military trainers were 220 HP.
I don"t think He stalled the aircraft, it looked to me like He was trying to roll out sooner than He wanted to and the nose came down for some reason. Rudder problems?
