Not the answer to all the questions of life but...(pic)

It does answer the "So what did you do all afternoon?" one I got from Mrs. CaseDC3.

I think I need one of those at the back of the farm. Every night about 7:00 PM I'll roll out into a dirt or grease vat and head home for supper, HUMMM may work.

I would give my right arm to have one of those to jump into on the way to the house. Course, I'm not sure who would clean the 13 pounds of dirt and chaff that would blow in it daily. About two pounds of that might be off of me.

The only time for a pool is when the kids are home. As soon as our kids left so did the pool. Just too much work for what little use. No reason for anyone that want one not to have one now days. Have a friend that bought a 18 X 30 above the ground installed for little over 2 grand and the small 15 ft round ones are dirt cheap.

I agree with JM, biggest pain in the keester there is has to be a pool. It's either to high Ph, to low, or there will be an algae bloom or the filter is busted or the pump is broke or the liner is leaking or the side wall has problems or the deck around it need staining or the pool tools are missing or theres a dead bird or something in it. Friend had a deer drown in his. Another guy had a turkey buzzard in his.

Biggest pain in the world. Plus, they tell you to run the pump 24/7. Right, another $150.00 a month on top of the chemicals!

We've had a 16' x 36' in-ground for 24 years. If I spend an hour a week taking care of it that's a lot. Pump/heater/chlorinator is on a timer, runs 7 hours a day. Auto pool cleaner. Backwash filter every 3-4 days, check chlorine/PH every third day, and that's about it. It's all how you set it up, and getting used to what it takes to maintain the water quality.
