OT help identifying bird

Could use some assistance in identifying this bird! Found him at Lake Manawa State Park. Has duck like feet, but the bent bill has me stumped.

 
Looks an aweful lot like a Comorant that we have here in Michigan. They are fish eating machines, the water becomes almost toxic below their nests from all the poop.

Michigan DNR is starting to "control" them. No hunting season on them yet. They are a touch smaller than a Canadian Goose.

Frickin cormorant, An invasive species if ever there was one. If there's a way to get away with killing it, do so.
 

Here in East Texas lakes (Toledo Bend ,Rayburn) the carmarant are very common.They have killed several 80 to 90 foot tall yellow pines from roosting and pooping constantly.
