Did John Deere make any phase 3 420T's that had 420T on the serial plate but were wide fronted? I know there were MT's that were wide fronted but the tag said MT. Also any rarity to this version if it existed from the factory? Just not that up on 420's so I need some help.

I haven't gotten to read it yet but the new JD mag has a feature article on 420s including production numbers I believe. I am by no means a wealth of knowledge on 420s but have been reading/learning since we got a Phase I 420T that was bought new by my Nephew's Maternal Great Grandfather (love tractors with a history). I do think that I have read that all 420Ts were simply serialed and recorded as that: "420T" regardless of front end equipment (like stated below), and unfortunately I don't believe production info is available on Dubuque tractors like others. I have seen a few 420T wide fronts, have only begun looking at tags recently but those that I have checked simply said 420T.
