O/t How the @#$ do you find the pcv valve on a ford explorer

I'm feeling really stupid for having to ask this as I grew up fixing cars but what the HECK did they do with the pcv valve on a 4.0 shoc ? Trying to get it changed but can't find the @#$$ thing even tried google and nothing that matches.

This probably won't help you a bit but on the 302 V8 ('97) it was at the very back end of the intake manifold.Had to lay over the top of the engine lengthwise to even see it.

I typed this

"ford 4.0 sohc pcv valve location"

into google, it appears the pcv is on the very back of the motor on the drivers side, beside tne brake booster.

I drive or drag things into O'Reilly's and tell them I'll buy one, if they tell me where and how. The guys go to sshool, are trained and friendly, it always works.

Feel along the back of the plastic intake on the passenger side and you will feel a bump in the hose and some sort of connector that is tie strapped in place. That's the pcv valve.

I'd rather get poked in the eye with a sharp stick than have to replace another one(wink)

Thanks to all . I found the blankety blank thing . Looks like a job for someone that has the flexibility of a 10yr old dutch gymnast . Boy I'm glad I like old diesels. Trucker
