Striped Bib Overalls

Anyone have any old, worn out pairs of striped bibs they could sell me? I need the material for a seat cover in my 1951 chevy truck. It"s an old farm truck and I think it would be an appropriate material for the seat. I"m looking for about 8 pair. Thanks!

I had three pair of Roundhouse at the sewing machine for months to be patched. Two weeks ago I cut the straps off and put them in the trash. When I get done with them I would not be sure you could get any large enough sections out of eight pair to make seat covers. I get them purty thin all over.

you can buy that cloth in a fabric store. I would be much easier than ripping apart coveralls. I think the material is called pillow ticking.

Agreed.

It's some pretty tough fabric but getting it clean after you've rubbed some grease on it from your pants leg is a real bear.

striped denim is a popular fabric you shouldn't have any trouble finding that .

Saw a old 34 Ford truck roadster with an U.S. Army surplus tent canvas seats and door panels. The builder left the U. S. stencil on the fabric. Attached the door panels by adding snaps. It was cool.
Look around the web for "Jimmy Shine" and the truck "Bare Nekkid"
