How do you know what boiler size to get for your house.i live in ne oh.my house is 40ft.by20ft. not well insulated. thanks for any advice

knowing what size to get is the least of your worries.

Do you have an unlimited supply of free wood.?
Do you have a lot of spare time to cut and stack wood?
Do you have deep enough pockets?
Do you have neighbours?
Do you have a heating contractor will to do the install?
Do you have some way to haul and unload this beast?
Do you plan to include the installation cost, not just the unit?
Do you love to spend all your spare time cutting wood?
Do you have any other expensive hobbies?

Don't ask how I know these things. LOL

Call up Central Boiler and speak with their sales staff. It all depends on what type of heat you have now (forced air/hydronic) how far you have to run buried heating pipes from your boiler, etc. If you google "heat loss calculations" you can figure your heating load for the house. Add 25% for system efficiency.
(Do not buy cheap supply and return lines to be buried in the ground) unless you want a melted path to your boiler.

You can get a lot of help on heatinghelp.com You need to figure a heat loss for your building. If you measure up all surfaces touching the outdoors there is a btu per hour heat loss associated with your area and depending on the surface involved. (windows lose more than a well insulated wall). By far the best heat is in floor radiant. Some people have saved 50% on their heating bill by using radiant.
