copper topped neighbor kid...saga for thoe that had followed

All,

I intentionally do not include pictures...I feel he may want to in the future, but discretion is important in this day of immediate information.

Well, two of them show, copper and brother. I asked them if Dad was ok if I gave them a defunct snowthrower.

Fast forward, they both show with a tractor, a rusty trailer, and a thirst for MT dew or COke. These two stick around and help the misses with digging in flowers.

The two show up later and bring her an oak sapling. They could have not have guessed better.

I sure enjoy these fellows, and how considerate they are. Especially to the things we consider important.

Good on ya... You are bringing them something they aren't getting otherwise. Sounds like good kids... What's the dad like?

Jose,

I figure we"ve got a few extra minutes that Mom and Dad do not.

Also, my wife is adamant that we share the kindness we"ve been blessed with in our lives.

At times we;ve disagreed, but for the most part, we see things with a larger view, if we can.

good for you, always read the posts, just shows no matter how far we "advance" most kids need time - not more things

Glad to hear they're still doing well Dennis.
I agree with your assessment on time.
Life is busy for young parents and sometimes they can't
or just don't realize how important it is to spend that time
where it counts the most.
Thanks for keeping us updated!

Dennis, thanks for the update. I enjoy the good job of mentoring you do for the youngster(s). You're likely making more of a positive impact in their lives than you'll ever realize just by showing them that someone cares. Continued good luck! (BTW, really like the coppertop handle.)
