My Jubilee will run for about a minute a die. It seems to run out of gas(gas in tank. Could this be a problem with the carb? The carb has been rebuild.Anybody help?

Might not be a fuel issue at all.
When it dies immediately pull a plug wire and check your spark. Requires no tools to verify that you have a bright bluish white spark that will jump at least 1/4". Short or yellowish spark will not do.

At the time of stall, check for spark immediately.
Do you have good spark to the spark plugs?
If not, do you have battery voltage to the coil ignition side of the coil?
If spark is good, does fuel run out the drain on the bottom of the carb
when you pull the plug? Let it run into a container for a couple of minutes.
Should run steady the whole time, not dribble. Check the captured fuel
for water/rust/dirt. If it's good, put it back in the tank if you want.
Once you isolate it to a fuel or spark issue it will be easier to troubleshoot.

Billie........aint'chur carbie an'nebber was. Ittza yer condenser. BAD condensers have about 1-min runtime; will re-start after about 5-min cool-off time. .........Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister

I was at the tractor pulls yesterday. There were three tractors doing that, two Olivers and a Moline. The Oliver owners didn't get it sorted out. The Moline owner finally figured out that it was his Chinese ignition switch.

There is a drain plug in the bottom on carb. When it stops, see if there is gas in the carb by removing the plug.

If you installed an in line filter, mistake, they vapor lock when fuel gets to 135, which doesn"t take much, heat from radiator, muffler and engine.

There are 3 screen filters, one on top of the sediment bowl, one inside the sediment bowl and one at the right angle brass fitting where the gas line connects to the carb. The inside of my thank began to flake off and would choke screens.

Electrical problems may act like fuel problems too.

(quoted from post at 13:48:27 05/13/13) Thanks for all the replies. Could this be a vacuum problem. Maybe the valves are out of adjustment.

Yes it could be but about 100 times more likely to be spark or fuel delivery. It is usually considered most productive to go after the more likely solution first.
